Wedding Day Emotions

There are a lot of them!  Laughter, tears, sadness, happiness, joy. Weddings are such an involved occasion with friends and family, and at least some drama! It is best to embrace the emotion and feelings of the occasion as they come.  It is all part of this glorious occasion, part of coming together.  It can be messy, difficult, and stressful at times, but it is all part of the experience.  The adventure of it all.

So embrace it!  As emotions come up feel them, look at them, and really experience the moments leading up to and the day of the wedding.

You don’t want to bottle it all up inside, better to process and release it as it comes.  This is especially true for mothers.  Mom, just let it out!  If the crying comes – let it.  I had one lovely mother who took this advice and cried for a good long time, BEFORE her make up was done.  She felt refreshed, relieved, and was able to really enjoy the ceremony and the rest of the event.

When the emotions come, let them!
